Announcement: TCO Parents and Players Meeting

Subject: TO INTRODUCE, DISCUSS AND ORGANIZE OUR COMPETITIVE CONCEPT AND PLAN FOR ALL PLAYERS WHO WILL BE PLAYING OR ARE REQUIRED TO PLAY TOURNAMENTS

Introduction: Most of our young players are settling into their training schedules and routines.  Most all who have been consistent in their attendance, along with demonstrating serious improvement in discipline and focus have improved tremendously in the training setting.

Our players have begun to develop much better, more efficient and more effective training habits. This has translated into massive improvement both technically and physically.  Most of our players are far more open and capable of receiving and processing the coaching our team is providing.

There is no doubt when observing our training, that our young players are far more focused, productive, efficient and polished, and are going about their daily training with FAR MORE energy, excitement and enthusiasm.

Now that our coaching team is bonding and our players are understanding what is required from them, along with how our training has PROVEN IT IS WORKING IN THEIR DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, THEIR PHYSiCALITY AND PROVING TO BE MORE FUN AND ENJOYABLE FOR THEM, it’s time to transition this into their competitive endeavors.

At this meeting, I will summarize and review what we have put in place with our training program and then introduce the next steps in driving our program forward.  We will discuss the introduction of more competitive endeavors and opportunities, from friendly matches to tournament competition.  This of course comes with an entirely new set of issues, problems and circumstances.  It also offers our young player the opportunity to grow and develop into healthy, strong competitors, not just on the tennis court but in both the classroom and in life.

THIS MEETING IS ONLY FOR PARENTS (AND PLAYERS) OF COMPETITIVE PLAYERS WHO PLAN TO COMPETE IN DANISH SANCTIONED DTF TOURNAMENTS BEGINNING IN 2015.
